Being forced to stay in. Dreadful. Feeling under the weather. Tormenting. 

You were staying at the Hamada residence since your parents were working. The lady of the house, Cass, made arrangements for you to stay. She insisted for you not to hesitate to ask if you needed anything. You didn't want to take advantage of her hospitality or be frivolously needy, so you just nodded like a good girl. In her nephews' shared room is where you stayed. You'd been in there before. With Tadashi. . .

A low rumbling came from your stomach, demanding nourishment. Pulling out your phone you coughed. Tears escaped your tear ducts. It sucked being as sick as you were. You had two unread texts which you opened. 

Get well soon (name). Take care soldier. -Gogo
OMG (name) we miss you so much! Hope you feel better. P.S. Tadashi misses you most of all. <3 -Honey

You smiled. And then another coughing fit. Regrettably, you sent a text to Cass to send you food. She came in with a cream cheese bagel, a cherry danish and orange juice. "Thank you, Ms. Cass," you said, not as strongly as you would have liked. The woman simply smiled and left. You consumed the meal, tantalizing your palette. 

But your contentedness was temporary. You felt like this contagion was sucking you dry. Not to mention you were lonely. Yes lonely. You squeezed the pillow. It smelled like Tadashi. His sweet masculine musk was your drug. "Tadashi..." you murmured in pillow talk. 

"Huh. Getting all intimate with a pillow I see."

You looked up. Your wan face filled with shock and disbelief. "Ta-Tadashi?" No I-I must be hallucinating." Your voice was hoarse.

The college student crossed over to you. "It's me (name). In the flesh."

You gazed at him like you had witnessed the supernatural. You stood, your head throbbing caused you to unbalance. You lost your footing and toppled headfirst on the floor. You let out a shrill wail. "(Name)!" Tadashi cried, hoisting you up and setting you down on the bed in an upright position. You held your head, wincing. Baymax activated from his box in the corner ready to assist. 

"On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your pain?"

"I don't know. Is it bleeding?"

"There is no bleeding, therefore it is not severe." the robot answered. "And nothing is broken or dislocated. But ice is required." Baymax retrieved the ice and applied it to your inflicted head. "Have a lollipop." You took the red lollipop. Footsteps tread up the stairs. Tadashi hid in a cramped space behind the bed. 

"(Name), I heard you scream. Are you hurt?" Cass asked.

"Yeah but Baymax took care of it. I'll be fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Okay then." She went back downstairs. When the coast was clear Tadashi came out from his hiding place. He sat next to you, looking guiltily at your injury. "This is my fault. I'm sorry (name)."

"No it's mine. It was my uncoordinated brain. Stupid illness."

Tadashi kissed your forehead. "I should have some of the blame."

"Okay. But it's nontransferable."

He wrapped his arms around you. "Thanks for not ratting me out."

"You shouldn't be here Tadashi." You coughed phlegm into a tissue. "Callaghan—"

"I'm taking care of you," Tadashi said adamantly. "Besides, it's one lecture."

"Stop being stubborn Tadashi!" It came out as a raspy hiss than a bold shout. "You're supposed to be a role model for Hiro. Go back or I'll call your aunt."

The rebellious Asian declined. You reached for your phone with your free hand (the one not holding the ice). Tadashi tickled you to foil your plot. You giggled uncontrollably. 

"Initializing scan... (Name) is feeling..."

"Baymax no—"

"...Arousal."

"Arousal?" Tadashi repeated sultrily. "You're in trouble now (name)."

Your lips were overtaken by Tadashi's. You retaliated by kissing him more tenderly. Tadashi imitated your action, trying to out-kiss you. You were both reluctant to pull away. 

"(Name)'s and Tadashi's heart rates have risen. Diagnosis: euphoric inclinations."

"Baymax I am satisfied with my care," Tadashi said.

At the signal phrase Baymax powered off. Tadashi gave you the "I'm-not-finished-with-you" look. Uh oh. Lusty boy alert. Tadashi conquered your lips yet again. You likewise kissed him. He pulled away with a smirk. "Now you want me to stay don't you?" You punch him in the gut playfully. "I'll take that as a yes."

"So what now?"

"Easy. I take care of you."

"Since you insist so much, I need to take a dosage of my medicine in two hours. It's the non-drowsy one. Don't even think about giving me the wrong one or you're dead meat. In the meantime we could watch a movie."

"Alright. Which one?"

"The Winter Soldier."

"The Winter Soldier it is."

Tadashi inserted the DVD into the DVD player and pressed play. You cuddled close to him; no sickness could prevent you from cuddling your boyfriend. You watched the movie and two hours later (around the fight versus Captain America and the Winter Soldier) Tadashi gave you the tart medicine with a side helping of water. He took it upon himself to replace the ice pack too. You resumed cuddling, making commentary and watching the movie until the end. Your affectionate couple time was disturbed by Hiro walking in. 

"Ack. How come I always walk in at the wrong times?" Hiro questioned, appalled. 

Tadashi snickered. "Hey (name) want to hear about the time Hiro wet the bed?"

"Tadashi! Don't tell her that!"

You laughed so hard you could have wet yourself, but luckily didn't. As far as sick days go, this one wasn't bad at all.
